How Subisu, ISP in Nepal, Lost me as a customer

Hello Guys

I have been posting about the problem with Worldlink Internet since past few months. I have also been telling about their poor services. So, i had planned to shift my ISP. I found subisu providing 1 mbps connection @ Nrs.6000 per month and i emailed them. I asked them few question, however, they ended up by just asking my mobile number. I re-emailed them again telling that you guys are not serious about me ? I am going to be your new customer for long time, but i was unable to get any reply from them.
Pancha Bir Chaudhary replied me once asking my telephone. No reply then after…
However, this was not the solution for me.I again contacted radius ISP in Nepal. They gave me a proposal of 1mbps connection and the rate was 40000Nrs. WTF ? Shared 1mbps was only for Nrs.10000 Nrs 10000 for Internet access is only ? I had other option that taking the wireless 1mbps of Wlink.

I UPGRADED my Internet Connection to 1Mbps with 30GB volume every month.

Yes, there was no any other option. Wlink has various problem with wordpress, vbulletin and many other sites so i will have to buy a VPN which costs me extra $60 per year. Thats not a big deal. Now, i won’t be changing any ISP for at least 6 months and during these 6 months i am sure wlink will come up with great package. But, its SUBISU who could have got me as new customer. UNLUCKY guys !!! They should value and answer every customer. I know, wlink also doesn’t answer any emails but i was expecting this from SUBISU. If they also are same then why should i pay higher and change my ISP ?

Folks, put your experience about your ISP in the comment box below.

Hey

Do you also get problem using WP on Wlink Connection?

I have this problem when my wp sites suddenly stop working.

I first though it was my host problem which was not then i thought my router was fault. i changed my router and also formatted my PC.

Were you able to solve that problem?

What VPN do you use?

I am just f**ked up by subisu. Poor back up problem around my area. Internet was down for 2 days this week. Donot use subisu if you are in area like mine where they have frequent backup problem. Donot even consider advance payments you will regret. By the way which ISP are you using right now and are happy with?

I am using Wlink isp and am somehow satisfied with it. But when I see the advertising of indian isp of 2mbps @ 400 per months i am like wtf…why can’t we get internet speed here like that at the same ic to nc converted price….sometimes i wish nepal was a part of india or nepal was more developed

WOW… wlink is just fu**ed up… 2000 for first cable internet installation charge and 1700 per month for 256kbps, soon after 1 month of installation, they seemed to have backup problems, so i had no option than to move to their so calledd wi-zoom as they promised that wi-zoom won’t have any backup problem since I would be in direct connection with their poor-helpless APs’. So i feed them another 2000 for wi-zoom installation with 3500/month for 512kbps internet. but, HOLY COW, the internet got even got worst than when I was in their cable connection. Everyday I had to call their stupid helpline 2-3 times a day and still didn’t get even a single solution. Everytime I called, i had the same response “Mr. Binod Shrestha of Maharajgunj Branch will be in field visit as its assigned to him. So he will be in your home tomorrow” and there was nobody. And sometimes they even asked me to restart my router and the device I paid them 2000 for rental.

For sure, these proudly wlink don’t have a minute time to waste for cheap customers like us and they don’t have a shame shouting like RETARDS that they are leading ISP in Nepal, shame ON YOU WLINK

When I was on cable internet of wlink, I even referred Yalamber Subba (Previous Commenter on this post) to move to wlink if he had problem with subisu, and that the most stupid suggestion I ever gave to any of my friend…

I still have few more days to tolerate the useless service of wlink, then I am going to move to some other ISP, likely to subisu.. I hope they will welcome me well and provide me the better service for the value of money I pay them….

WLINK, you will always be losing your customers if you behave like this.

I am one of the oldest client of SUBISU.

Now listen all of you, why I stick to this ISP is that :

They have symetric DSL. That means whatever your download speed is, it’s same with your upload speed.

Where as ADSL and Wlink provides their client with higher download data rates and at the same time gives very limiting bandwidth on upload.

So the question remains :

What you use internet for ???
If you are watching youtube, news or downloading the torrent. It’s fine.

Now if you want to upload videos into youtube, then you will experience the problem, It will take longer.

Here, if you are having conversation on video chat, The datastream coming from other party will streaming to you will be smooth at higher speed. But on the other side of your partner will experience lagging. Same with skype, whether you are sending file to others.

So folks, here is what I want you to do. go to speedtest.net and find out both your download and upload speed. It will make things clear.

Hello:
I just got a few quick questions for the users here. I have been trying to google the ISP sites but have not been able to find the answers. What are you currently paying for your cable internet? Who provide cable internet in Basundhara area? Do the provide the cable modem or you need to buy your own?

Worldlink is by far the worst isp in nepal. firstly i was using adsl of nepal telecom of 128 kbps it was better never had disconnection issues it was cheap and stable in my are bagbazar.. then i had to shift to my new home at nayabazar. so i was unable to get adsl of telecom they said that there was not port free.so i took world link 192kbps wizoom…for few months the connection was great and the downloading was awesome but after fer months the speed decrease to a point that the connection disconnected after every interval i complained to worldlink so many times they said every thing is working fine after many complaints they checked my receiver antenna and replced and its was running better and again the same prob started. according to my sense worldlink is trying to cheat customer by prviding such crap services its a shame.they try to bump the speed to attract customer and after sometime they intentionally make the coneection slow now i will never advice anyone to use worlink isp..me im using subisu cable internet its great fast stable little expensive but u get tv channel for free… Subisu Jindabaadd!!!! worldlink murdabadd

Have been a customer of Subisu Wireless for the last three months. Since the day I connected, the problems never ended, the service has been a hell like for me. Now, for the last two days, I am without connection and the tech people at Subisu are helpless referring to some tower problems at their end and the Head office at Ktm not coordinating well. Now, it is unbearable enough prompting me to switch the connection to old NTC ADSL, far better than the fuc*ing Subisu wireless. Be aware of Subisu @ Biratnagar …

Myself had heck of a time calling the support of Wlink people that so many of them could recognize my voice. Had used all types of connection available for home user. But because of their deterioating services had to change to Nell connection after 4 long years. Had experience using various ISPs and the least professional services is offered by Wlink. Had known many of my ferns disconnected from their services and there godown must be filling with poor quality signal devices. Sorry for them, had emailed their mgmt, quality section and others but, they are here to loose in highly competitive digital war in Nepal.

I am one of the SUBISU user since 2 yrs here in biratnagar. From last few weeks its service has been totally deterorated with its very poor and helpless connection. Tha surfing rate is too slow as it takes more than 5 minutes to load simple google site. So you think about others. I always have to complain them but what they say is “all the boys are outside right now in field work, when they will b back they will b coming to your home” but they never come. So i have planned to migrate to some other ISP. Please suggest some better internet providers here in BIRATNAGAR. Thank you……

I’m using Vianet’s Fiber optical internet connection at my office,Fiber Connect 30 Gb /month validity as 30 Gb will be enough for me. and it cost 3500 per month. Though fiber installation charge is high its far more cheaper than other Isp fiber internet installation rate.
Have a look through http://www.vianet.com.np for convenience.
I hope it helps you.

Jav, try Fiber connection of Vianet. you wont require 2 mbps of ntc as its far more better than adsl as it is fiber connection. And they provide symmetric bandwidth.

dear all,
IM very proud to be involve and join at babypandey.com,in context of nepali isp. they r providing various packages….. in my experienced as a customer using 128/256 kbps-ntc, 256kbps/1mbps-wlink,512kbps/1mbps-broadlink/vianet/radious/websurfer/classictech and many more are not customer oriented, they r only money oriented.Because of very low sharing ratio(low download rate even in 1 or 2 mbps package also). what to do ?……..while new customer select any package they will get nice download speed only on first months….after then slow slow very bad …..it is not a good way change isp for better speed…. all r same … only differ on package.
——————————-NICE TRICKS EVER—————————————————–
Firstly, be sure on ur link with isp (check ping google.com -t on dos screen, if u get timeout frequently within every 3 min-isp is bad in principle of isp, otherwise ask their isp gateway ip address and check timeout for link quality). Secondly check speedtest (stop all download task on ur pc type speedtest.net for ipv6 speedtest6.net and note ur download speed and divide ur subscription speed by speedtest actual download speed, then u will get sharing ratio of connected isp) and thirdly if we found exact sharing ratio of isp, that is isp quality…this truth is not shown in browser or advertisement and their commitments.
————————————————————————————————————————
If u r thinking to use vpn, it can’t be beneficial in our NEPAL (subisu will be good mediater for vpn but dont subscribe Nepali vpn account because they use limited bandwidth in server backbone )
—————————————————————————————-
In my experience security issues that isp applying is not strong/secure, be sure use google free nice dns 8.8.8.8 as primary and 8.8.4.4 as secondary dns address (open run, type ncpa.cpl, right click on network care which ur using , click on properties , select tcpip v4, select properties , see down on dns 2 doxes use above 2 address , close/exit all steps). It bypass ur dns query perfectly(solution for our isp’s dns server frequently being down, they block sevral sites even it helps torrent download process to connect peer quickly )
———————————————————————————-
For TORRENT/IDM
Use dns as i maintained above, dont use port starts with 60000, they will filter and can shape speed, use protocol encryption. In case of IDM use registred or cracked minimum 6 version. maximize parallel connection…etc
————————————————————————-
Im feeling very sad because of nepali isp’s behavior, everything is possible here currently im using pure ipv6 internet of 2,3,5 Mbps from different isp but it is not legally, im hacking for my satisfaction and happiness. cable net/wifi/p2p air link
—————————————————————————————————————
where is problem?
non professional staff , many relative staff in every isp, lack of government’s strict policy and checking, lack of hacker customers and direct threatened, low salary for IT staff and lack of respect for few super professional
This is my first post on nepali forum/blog, my further usefull post is depends upon all my brothers who r connected at this site…sorry for some trick because of few description

bye
thnx frns and admin

Worldlink has not fucked me yet, but the following email thread shows how fucked up and hollow their customer satisfaction level is. They simply do not care. I donot have a follow up ever since the last email.
Email 1:
Sir/Ma’am,
I am a prospective cable customer for you and I called my local worldlink office at ***. I talked to Mr.Shrestha who was here at my house this morning. He said that it’s not possible for me to get a cable coverage at my location. I have attached my location tag on a Google map. Moreover, my next door neighbor is willing to have your cable service as well. Since I do not know much about other neighbor’s ISP preferences I cannot really speak for them here. But I do believe that there are a handful of ADSL users in the area and given the choice of your new cable zoom package they will be more than willing to switch over to your services from their existing ones.

So this email is intended to request you to make this service possible and available to us(2 houses at least) as soon as possible. Your marketing team could do a survey in the area as to who else would like your services as well. I would appreciate a very prompt and positive response from you.

As a customer of broadlink I was searching other’s experience with broadlink, I don’t know what is wrong with broadlink, I’m getting fluctuation in speed. During may-june 2012, I was getting more than 120KBPS on 256kbps package, later they decreased upto 64KBPS, now I’m struck on 30KBPS speed on 256kbps package. Nepali websites such as download.com.np were always more than 1MBPS and still it is. Youtube cached videos were fine till october, and download speed on youtube was around 1MBPS. Now youtube also loads on normal speed of 30kbps.
I have also used their 10mbps package, download speed goes upto 2MBPS but the page loads with same speed. Sometimes even it fails to send a chat messsage on facebook regardless of any package. The internet goes bad from 9pm to 11pm. You cannot even open any pages. I don’t know if this problem is only in my area but staff will never solve those issues. Other than this customer support is satisfactory. However their toll free numbers are always busy. You have to dial local support according to your area.
They will also provide you a locked CPE wireless receiver, and never tell the password and instructions. You can get password in some youtube videos. Just google for “Altai c1 broadlink”. I had no problem with wordpress or vbulletin. However I’m getting problems with cloudflare and other CDN networks as they think broadlink users are bot and sometimes place captcha. Broadlink wireless has much more ping loss during day, you won’t be able to play any online games. The rates are competitive as compared to other isp. I’m still using it only because switching isp is costly and “नेपालका सबै ISP यौटै द्याँगका मुला हुन”.

This broadlink is not broadlink this is chorlink,,,,,f***er…..they invested us more than 70000 for a cpe device and make control by themselves,,,even don’t give the password for us …those we paid money for them…..now they changed the subscriber plans too… they are f****ing leachheer…. weather you use or not use you have to pay the monthly bill…. last month I was away from home for my personal purposes….after one month when I came and called to join the next month .they requested me to pay for two months bill to get activated other wise I wont connect. i try to reset their cpe and try to configure to another local isp…. but i need the default user n password to setup….they never provided me……..what to say

The problem is data throttling. All the isp in Nepal do provide good service in the begging but after certain time or data consumption they start to cap your speed. I myself am a victim of this subsiu’s 728kbps internet was good for the first few months but after that it went downhill shitty consumer service added to that. Fair use policy hidden in the isp’s site really fucks us all. so far there are no any tier 1,2 isp in Nepal all of them are tier 3. In my experience the dedicated adsl fiber stand’s out the most from other. Hope this helps anyone who need a new isp.
